Welcome to Chrysalis Counseling Services, the independently operated private therapy practice of Juliana K. (Nason) Tyler, Licensed Mental Health Counselor.
If you are visiting this website, I imagine that you are feeling very strongly that there is something that you want help with. Whatever the issue is, seeking out support is one of the first steps you can take to help resolve that problem or issue. That is why people seek my services. They have something about their lives that they want to change.
I have a deep respect for individuals who are willing to seek out assistance when faced with challenges in their lives. I believe that there are many ways to instill hope and create change, and tailor my therapeutic approach to meet the unique needs of each client. I want to help you find hope, happiness, and create the life you want.
Counseling will provide you with a more balanced view of what is causing you concern or pain, allowing you to be heard and feel supported. It will help you recognize and utilize your strengths, and teach you tools to make changes and achieve your goals.

Are you or your child feeling sad, hopeless, alone, or unheard?
Are you spending time worrying about things that you cannot control?
Are you grappling with a life transition that has left you feeling stuck or confused?
Are you trying to deal with feelings and memories of having been abused in your life-physically, emotionally, or sexually?
Are you feeling that your close relationships are lacking in support, health, and vitality?
Are you doing well in most areas, but want to talk in confidence about important personal goals, decisions, or just about
learning to feel better about yourself?
If so, I can help.
I assist people in identifying what they want from life, from themselves and their relationships, and then work with them to
create a personal plan to achieve their goals.
